海を歩いていると美しい風景にたくさん出会う。
砂の中に空いた穴。
岩端のぼこぼこ。
波の跡。泡の粒。
自然が生みだす美しさには
いつも敵わないな、と感じる。
でも表現してみたくて、
描かずにはいられない。
海の表層を切り取ろうとした作品である。
Walking along the sea, I come across so many beautiful sights.
A hole opened in the sand. The rough edge of a rock. The traces left by waves. Beads of foam.
I always feel I'm no match for the beauty nature creates.
But I want to give it form — I can't help but paint it.
This is a work that tries to cut out the surface skin of the sea.
